The box says "Hair Removal Formula". So does it remove hair?
Your razor removes the hair. This oil is the care you give your skin afterwards, so that your smooth skin lasts longer. Think of it as two steps: taking the hair off, and looking after the skin once it's off. Almost everybody only ever does the first step. That is exactly why the stubble is back within two days.
So is it just an aftershave?
No. An aftershave sits on the surface and it is for today. This works on the follicle underneath, and what it does builds up over weeks. Completely different job. You can still use whatever else you normally put on your skin.
Do I still have to shave then?
Yes. You remove the hair the way you always have, then apply the oil. What changes over the weeks is how long your smooth skin lasts, so you find yourself reaching for the razor less often than you used to.
Can I use it on my bikini line or private area?
Yes, on the skin of the bikini line and outer areas, the same way you'd use it anywhere else. External use only, never internally, and never on broken or open skin. Patch test first. Shaving bumps in that area are extremely common and they are simply what happens when skin is shaved and then given nothing to recover with. If anything looks infected, is painful, spreading or weeping, please see a doctor rather than reaching for an oil.
